Aion Mastery Review

Hey it’s Otto here,

You are reading my review of what I honestly think of the Aion Mastery guides.

Note that this is a review though, so if you are looking for the official Aion Mastery website then click here.

“Why am I writing this?” Well that is because when I bought these guides there were no reviews available so I thought I’d write one quickly to help all of you who are looking for the same thing as I was.

I do have to warn you though, I will discuss some of the good points but also some of the bad points of the Aion Mastery guides, so if you don’t want to hear any of those you might be better off leaving immediately.

The Aion Kinah guide is basically a 44 page long guide that takes you through the whole Aion economy step by step.

It starts out with giving you an introduction to the different parts of the Aion Economy system like the influence ratio, trade broker and converting items. Then in the rest of the guide it goes more into more detail on some specific topics.

The Crafting section tells you about how crafting really works, which profession you should choose, where you can find the trainers and the costs to advancing skill levels. The guide also suggests that you start with only one crafting profession at first because you will earn a lot more with one high level skill then with many lower level ones. Once you got the ball running you will have enough Kinah to invest into the other skills. This section also covers the basics of gathering materials and the crafting itself.

Using your Private Store properly will help you a lot in getting more Kinah, every time you go afk you should set up a private store. The Aion Mastery Kinah guide will tell you where to put up your store, which items sell best, what price you should give them and the most important thing: private store messages that grab the most attention.

Grinding Materials is something very important to gain Kinah in Aion. This section covers some of the basics like your cube and what to loot (everything!) and then heads over to some more specific subjects. I came across some very interesting tips here. Some of the more advanced topics that this part covers are: where to sell your items, extracting items, gathering of materials, extracting,  farming mobs and coins, all including the locations and the level that you should be. This grinding section ends with a small part about how to make a huge profit selling quest items.

Hunting Mobs is the last part in the Aion Mastery Kinah guide. It will tell you the basics about hunting monsters and then it gives you a list of named mobs that are worth farming, so you won’t waste your time looking around for a monster to only find out he doesn’t drop anything that’s worth much at all. Finally the guide shares even more tips that will help you to bring in a lot of extra Kinah.

The Aion Mastery Kinah guide covers everything from the basics to the advanced strategies for loading your pockets with Kinah.

The Asmodian and Elyos leveling guides from Aion Mastery are true step by step “no bullshit” leveling guides.

When you first scroll through the leveling guides you can see there ain’t much information about the quests at all. This might be a bit of a pain for some quests but, as you progress, you will find it becoming simpler to finish quests anyway. To give you an example on how the guide describes your quests take a look at this part from the Asmodian leveling guide:

8. Go southwest and kill Spriggan Gatherers and Hunters, then loot an Elim Essence

9. Talk to Anoramas and Nabaru
a. Turn in ‘Disease Carriers”
b. Refresh “Petrifying Elim”

10. Go to the Hill of Belemu and use the Elim Essence near the tree

11. Return to Nabaru
a. Turn in ‘Petrifying Elim”
b. Accept “A Sorrowful Message”

As you can see it is pretty straightforward and really easy to follow. If you look at other Aion leveling guides you can quickly become confused about what to do because they give you so much irrelevant information. I found it pretty simple though to follow the Aion Mastery leveling guides. Also because there are almost no pictures in the guide so you can easily print it out. That way you can save a lot of time because you don’t have to alt-tab out of the game all the time to read the guide.

Mastery guide

aion mastery review 24 October 2009 0 Comments

Hi again,

I just wanted to make a very quick post about the progress of the Aion Mastery review. As you might have read I was gonna let my friend review the Asmodian guide but unfortunately he isn’t interested, so I will have to ask someone else. Meanwhile I will just make a review of the Kinah guide and post it so you have at least something to read.

Also I’ve made a short review video you can look at it here on Youtube, be warned though it is a very boring video, I’m not really good in making video’s I guess. It will give you a general idea of how the guide is built up though and it doesn’t take very long to watch it either.

I think I will be able to post my first review tomorrow so stay tuned and please come back to take a look at my review guide. Until then, see you in Aion Online!

Walkthrough guide

Hello again,

We are still working on the Aion Mastery review but it looks like I am able to post the final review faster then I expected. For your “entertainment” I have also made a Youtube video showing you the inside of the members area from Aion Mastery and in the video I also show some of the pages in the guide. Due to copyright laws I cannot show you much though but I’m sure that watchin the video can give you a general idea of how the guides are build up and how easy they are to follow.

I’m still editing the video a bit right now to make it a bit more viewable for you, I haven’t made much videos before but I think this one is definitely going to be good enough for viewing.

Reviewing Aion Mastery

aion guide 23 October 2009 0 Comments

Hi guys,

Edit: My review is finished, you can read it here, if you are just looking for the Aion Mastery website then click here

I stumbled across the Aion Mastery guide and thought I’d write a quick review about it, as I couldn’t find any quality reviews at the time I am writing this. Because I played WoW for a couple of years before starting with Aion Online and buying a lot of guides for it, I think I have the knowledge to write a good quality Aion Mastery Review. Don’t take my word on this though, just read it and see for yourself.

Doing the review actually takes some time though because Aion Mastery actually consists of 3 guides, the Asmodyan leveling guide, the Elyos leveling guide and the Aion Kinah guide. I will be so kind to review them all for you. Please have some patience for now though as I will try to have my review finished in a week or so.

Because I do not have any Asmodian characters (yet) I will ask a good friend of mine to review that guide for me, I will be looking at it as well but the best review is of course made by actually applying the steps that are described within the guides.
